WELCOME TO FLEKKEFJORD

Flekkefjord is the westernmost town in Southern Norway, an hour-and-a-half drive from Stavanger and Kristiansand. 

Flekkefjord town is right near route E39, about midway between the two larger cities.

Flekkefjord municipality also includes the built-up areas of Sira and Gyland inland as well as Rasvåg and Kirkehamn on the island of Hidra.

Flekkefjord still comprises mostly wooden buildings from previous periods. Most of them are now painted white, although they sported other colours previously. The buildings in the centre of town have now been modernised.
